期刊简介
中华医学会主办。本刊以骨科、创伤外科及相关学科的临床、教学和科研人员为读者对象，着重报道创伤骨科的临床研究，介绍新理论、新业务、新技术、新进展，同时兼顾创伤骨科基础研究与研究生培养，报道最新的研究成果，关注临床热点、难点和疑点问题，开展学术讨论。除突出院士论坛、专家论坛、述评、临床论著、综述、短篇论著等主要栏目外，还设有AO论坛、创骨教程、创伤骨科临床决策及创伤骨科指南等特色栏目。本刊已被美国《化学文摘》、俄罗斯《文摘杂志》、WHO西太平洋地区医学索引 （WPRIM）及中国科学引文数据库、万方数据知识服务平台收录，为“中国科技论文统计源期刊（中国科技核心期刊）”。

摘要：SummaryEvidence on the impact of age on outcomes after fixation of calcaneal fractures from two retrospective cohort studies suggests that outcomes of older patients are similar to or slightly better than those of younger patients.Functional outcomes appeared to be better,and there were no significant differences in complications.The question remains as to differences in fracture severity which may confound the results between those patients of 50 years or older,and those younger than 50 years,with younger patients more likely sustaining more severe injuries.
